While the spines and labels are faded, and there's slight wear to edges and corners, along with soiling and staining on the covers. The front free-endpapers have markings from the previous owner, and 'Philosophy' has staining on the front pastedown and markings throughout, but readability is unaffected. The binding is firm, and the pages are clean.
