Lot of 3 Novels: Sinners in Heaven, Chickie, and The Mountebank 1921-1925 HC

This set includes three classic novels. 'Sinners in Heaven' by Clive Arden was published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1923. 'Chickie' by Elenore Meherin, also from Grosset & Dunlap, dates back to 1925. 'The Mountebank' by William J. Locke was published by John Lane Company in 1921. All editions are unstated. The books are in acceptable condition. They show heavy shelf wear, minor soiling on covers and spines, and edgewear on spines and covers. Corners are rounded and frayed, and spines have cracked but bindings are still tight. There's a previous owner's name in ink on front endpapers. Pages 2 - 3 of 'Sinners in Heaven' are stained but still readable. Other text blocks have slightly darkened over time, yet pages are clean. Pages 30 - 31 of 'The Mountebank' are dog - eared.

These vintage novels are great for reading or as collectibles. When reading, handle them gently due to their age and the wear they've experienced. Avoid bending the pages too much to prevent further damage. To maintain them, store the books in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the pages from darkening further.
