2 Antique Vols: The Works of John Ruskin Sesame & Lilies/Time & Tide 1898-1907

These two antique volumes feature works by the renowned author John Ruskin. One is 'Time & Tide' published by Ballantine, Hansen & Co in 1904, and the other is 'Sesame and Lilies' published by Doubleday & McClure Co in 1898. Editions are unstated. The books are in good - acceptable condition. 'Sesame and Lilies' shows moderate edge and spine - end wear, some fraying at the edges, and the final page has come unbound but no pages are missing. 'Time & Tide' is in good shape. There's ephemera between pages 386/387 with markings on the page. The dust jacket is tucked into the back cover. The text block and pages have darkened over time with a few spots, but readability remains unaffected (see pics).

These antique books are great for collectors or those who love classic literature. To use them, simply open the pages and start reading. As they are old, handle them gently to avoid further damage. When not in use, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent more darkening of the pages. If you need to clean them, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the covers.
