This 3 - volume set includes two great music works. The first part, 'The World's Best Music Part 1 - 2, Vol. 9 - 10', is co - authored by Arthur Elson and Louis C. Elson, published by The University Society Inc. in 1913, with the Philharmonic Edition. The second work, 'Modern Music and Musicians', is written by Louis C. Elson, also published by The University Society Inc. in 1912, in the Philharmonic Edition. The books are in acceptable condition. The covers have moderate soiling, and the cover material is coming off along the edges and spines. There is soiling and foxing along the fore edge of the text blocks. However, the bindings are secure, the pages are clean, and there is some writing on the front free endpapers and pastedowns.

These music books are great for music lovers to read and study historical music knowledge. When using them, handle them gently to avoid further damage to the covers. To maintain them, store them in a dry and clean place, away from direct sunlight. Don't write on the pages other than the areas where there is already writing. If you want to take notes, use a separate notebook. Also, be careful when turning the pages to prevent tearing as the books are old.
