Product Description

This 1911 hardcover book titled 'Lawns and Greens: Their Formation and Management' is written by T.W. Sanders and published by W.H. & L. Collingridge. It's the 2nd edition. The book is in acceptable condition. The covers have heavy soiling, are bubbled likely due to liquid damage, and there's a sticker on the front cover. There's loss and fraying of material along the spine and edges. The text block shows soiling and tarnishing. The front and back free endpapers and pastedowns have yellowing and staining. Pages throughout the book are soiled but readability is unaffected. The binding is breaking.

If you've got this old book about lawns and greens, here's how to handle it. First, when you're reading it, make sure your hands are clean to avoid adding more dirt to the already soiled pages. Don't open the book too wide as the binding is breaking. To keep it in the best condition possible, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent further yellowing and damage. If you want to share it with others, be gentle while passing it around. And remember, even though the book has some wear - and - tear, it's still full of great information about lawn and green management from over a century ago.
