Product Description

This set includes two insightful books. 'Japan's Foreign Relations' by Roy Hidemichi Akagi, published by The Hokuseido Press in 1936, offers a historical view of Japan's diplomatic affairs. 'Japan's Quest for Autonomy' by James B. Crowley, published by Princeton University Press in 1966, delves into Japan's pursuit of self - governance. The books are former library copies. They are in acceptable condition, though they show signs of wear. There is writing on pages in 'Japan's Quest for Autonomy', the binding is loosened and breaking, the covers are pulling away, and there is soiling on the covers and along the fore edge of the text blocks. Pages also have creasing.

These books are great for those interested in Japan's history and international relations. To use them, simply open to the page you want to read. When handling, be gentle as the binding is weak. After reading, store them upright on a bookshelf to avoid further damage to the binding. Wipe the covers gently with a dry cloth to remove dust and prevent soiling from getting worse. If you plan to take notes, use a bookmark or sticky note instead of writing directly in the books, especially considering the existing writing on 'Japan's Quest for Autonomy'.
