Product Description

This 2-volume book set offers in-depth knowledge in group theory. Volume 1, 'The Theory of Groups', is authored by Marshall Hall, Jr., published by The Macmillan Company in 1961, 2nd Printing. Volume 2, 'Theory of Groups of Finite Order', is written by W. Burnside and published by Dover Publications, Inc. in 1955, 2nd Edition. The books are in acceptable condition with some wear, like frayed edges, soiled covers and pages (but readability is not affected), loosened binding, and scuffed covers.

These books are great resources for those interested in group theory. To use them, simply start reading from the beginning or refer to specific chapters based on your needs. When handling the books, be gentle as the binding is a bit loose. Try to keep them in a dry and clean place to prevent further soiling. Avoid bending the covers too much to reduce scuffing. If you spill something on the pages, quickly blot it with a clean cloth to minimize damage.
