Product Description

Item Details: Title - The Principles of Insect Control; Author - Robert A. Wardle & Philip Buckle; Publisher - Manchester University Press; Copyright - 1923; Edition - Unstated. Condition: The book is in good shape. The cover has some visible wear like scuffing, soiling, shelf and edge wear, denting, and wrinkling. It has deckled pages at the bottom. The text block shows soiling, sunning, and marks. There's a bit of cocking and outward bowing. Pastedowns and free - endpapers are discolored due to glue and age. Page edges are lightly sunned, but the pages are clean, bright, and legible. The thread - bindings are intact, but the binding isn't glued to the spine and is starting to separate from the mull and endpapers.

If you've got this antique book on insect control, here's how to make the most of it. Use it as a great source of knowledge about old - fashioned insect control methods. Just handle it gently because it's quite old. When you're reading, try to place it on a flat and clean surface to avoid more damage. For maintenance, keep it in a dry and cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent further sunning and discoloration. If you need to move it, hold it firmly at the spine to avoid the binding coming apart more.
