Item Details: Grow Green Vermicompost is made from pre-consumer food scraps like rinds, peelings, and seeds, along with coffee grounds from MSU dining facilities. It's mixed with leaves and other local dry organic materials, briefly hot composted, and then processed by red wiggler worms. The result is a well - aged and stable soil amendment.

How to use Grow Green:
- Top Dressing Plants: Sprinkle a thin layer (1/4") on the soil before watering. Repeat regularly for great results.
- Container Plant Growing Media: Mix it into your current or seed - starting media at a 10 - 20% volume ratio.
- Garden Beds: When transplanting annuals or perennials, add half a cup for small plants or a full cup for larger ones in the planting hole.
Note: Vermicompost may dry out and settle after bagging.
