2 Vols: Church Hymns w Tunes/Cruden's Complete Concordance 1903-1930

This is a two - volume set. The first volume, 'Church Hymns with Tunes', was written by Charles Llyod and published by the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge in 1903 as a 'New Edition'. The second volume, 'Cruden's Complete Concordance to the Old and New Testaments', was authored by Alexander Cruden and published by The John C. Winston Company in 1930, with an unstated edition. The books are in acceptable condition. There's discoloration on the spines from sun exposure, fraying along the edges, moderate soiling and tarnishing on the fore - edge of text blocks and covers. Pages 8 - 25 of 'Church Hymns with Tunes' are torn. The pages are soiled but still readable, have yellowed with age, and the bindings are breaking down.

These two books are great for religious study and hymn - singing. When using them, handle the pages gently, especially in 'Church Hymns with Tunes' where pages 8 - 25 are torn. Don't expose them to direct sunlight for long periods to avoid further discoloration. To maintain them, store the books in a dry and cool place. If you notice any loose pages, you can use archival - quality glue to re - attach them carefully. And try not to place heavy objects on top of the books to prevent further damage to the bindings.
