This set includes two great books. The first one, 'Childhood and Society' by Erik Erikson, was published by W.W. Norton & Co. in 1963. It's a revised second edition. The second book, 'The Origins of Intellect: Piaget's Theory' by John L. Phillips, Jr., was published by W.H. Freeman & Co. in 1969 with an unstated edition. The books are in acceptable condition. There is soiling and rubbing on the covers and spines, along with shelf and edge wear, rounding and scuffing on edges, corners, and spine ends. The Erikson book has writing from a previous owner and marks on some pages, while the Piaget book is a former library copy. But don't worry, the bindings are tight and the markings don't affect readability.

These books are great for reading and learning. You can simply sit back and start reading to gain knowledge from the authors' insights. When handling the books, be gentle to avoid further wear and tear. To keep them in good condition, store them on a clean and dry bookshelf. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight for long periods as it can fade the covers. If you notice any loose pages, you can use a bit of glue to fix them carefully. Also, try to keep your hands clean when reading to prevent additional soiling.
