This lot includes two great books by Roy A. Cheville. The first book, 'Through the West Door', was published by Herald Publishing House in 1946. The second one, 'Spirituality in the Space Age', also from Herald Publishing House, dates back to 1962. Both editions are unstated. The books are in good condition. The dust jackets are acceptable, though there are several open tears. There's shelf and edgewear with rounded and rubbed edges, corners, and spine ends. The text block and endpapers have darkened over time, but readability isn't affected. There are marks and prices from previous owners on the front inside panel of the dust jackets. The bindings are tight, and the pages are clean.
These books are great for reading and collecting. When you read them, just handle them gently to avoid further wear. To store them, keep them in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight which can fade the covers and damage the pages. If you notice any dust on the books or dust jackets, you can use a soft brush to gently clean them. When turning the pages, be careful not to bend or tear them.
