Product Description

This bundle includes two classic education books. 'Deschooling Society' by Ivan Illich, edited by Ruth Nanda Anshen, was published by Harper & Row in 1971. 'Teaching as a Subversive Activity' by Neil Postman and Charles Weingartner was published by Delacorte Press in 1969. The books are in very good condition. There's minimal edge rubbing, the 'Teaching' cover is slightly sunned, and 'Deschooling' has markings from a previous owner on the front free - endpaper. The bindings are tight and the interiors are clean. The dust jackets are in good condition with some shelfwear, soiling, staining, and material loss.

These two classic education books are great resources for educators, students, or anyone interested in educational theory. To use them, simply start reading and absorb the insightful ideas. When handling the books, be gentle to avoid further wear on the covers and pages. Keep them in a dry and clean place to prevent damage from moisture. If you need to store them, try to place them upright on a bookshelf to maintain the tightness of the bindings. Also, avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for long periods to prevent further sunning of the covers.
