Product Description

This special lot includes two American painting books. The first one, 'The Story of American Painting', is written by Charles H. Caffin and published by Frederick A. Stokes Company in 1907. The edition is unstated. The second book, 'Painting in America From 1502 to Present', is authored by E. P. Richardson and published by Thomas Y. Crowell Company in 1957, also with an unstated edition. The books are in good condition. There are markings from the previous owner on the front free - endpapers. There's minor rubbing on the edges, corners, and spines. The spine and label of the 'Painting' book are sunned. The bindings are tight and the interiors are clean. The dust jacket of the 'Painting' book is in acceptable condition with rubbing, shelf - wear, and some tears with loss of material.

These two American painting books are great resources for art lovers. You can read them at home for leisure, or use them as references for your art study. When handling the books, be gentle to avoid further damage to the already slightly worn parts. Store them in a dry and cool place to prevent mold and discoloration. If the dust jacket gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Don't bend the pages or put heavy objects on the books to keep the bindings tight.
