Product Description

This antique hardcover textbook, 'Text-Book of Anatomy and Physiology for Nurses', was written by Diana Clifford Kimber and Carolyn E. Gray and published by The Macmillan Company in 1918. It's the Fifth Edition, Revised. The book is in acceptable condition. There's rubbing and edgewear on the cover and spine. The head and tail of the spine are chipped from shelf wear. The spine has small tears along the hinge but no loss of material. The corners are bumped and scuffed, yet the binding remains tight. The front endpaper has the previous owner's name and some pencil markings, and the back endpaper and fore - edge of the text block have pencil writing. The text block has darkened, minor soiling and pencil notations that don't affect readability, and there's some damp - staining on the fore - edge margin.

This antique textbook is great for history buffs or those interested in old medical knowledge. To use it, simply open the pages and start reading. It's like taking a trip back in time to learn about anatomy and physiology from a 1918 perspective. When handling the book, be gentle as it's old and the cover and spine are a bit worn. Try to keep it away from damp areas to prevent further staining. After use, store it on a flat and dry shelf to avoid more chipping or damage. And don't worry about the pencil markings and minor soiling, they add to the book's charm and history.
