Product Description

This two - volume set from the 1967 first edition of the Rocket and Space Science Series is a great addition to any science library. Volume 1 focuses on Propulsion, edited by Bruce Ketcham and Ralph C. Martin. Volume 2 is about Propellants, with editors Jawaharlal Ramnarace, Bruce Ketcham, and Ralph C. Martin. Both volumes are published by Howard W. Sams & Co., Inc., and The Bobbs - Merrill Company, Inc. The books are in good condition. The covers and text blocks have light soiling, but it doesn't affect readability. There's some shelf wear on the edges, corners, and spines. The text blocks have darkened with age, yet readability remains intact. Volume 2 has markings from a previous owner on the front free - endpaper. The bindings are tight, and the interiors are clean.

These books are great for those interested in rocket and space science. To use them, simply open the pages and start reading. It's like taking a journey back to 1967 to learn about propulsion and propellants. When handling the books, try to keep your hands clean to avoid adding more soiling. Since they are old books, be gentle when turning the pages to prevent any tears. Store them in a dry and cool place to avoid further darkening of the text blocks and to prevent any damage to the bindings. If you notice any loose pages, you can use a little bit of acid - free glue to reattach them carefully.
