Product Description

This is a unique 3-volume set of 'Countdown' - a subterranean magazine from 1970, in its 1st printing. Each volume - Countdown 1, 2, & 3 - is published by The New American Library, Inc. The author and edition are unstated. The books are in good condition overall. They have minimal edge rubbing, and the covers, spines, and text blocks show some soiling. Countdown 2 and 3 have markings from the previous owner on the front free - endpaper, and Countdown 3 also has markings on the text block, but it doesn't affect readability. The spines are creased, and the pages are slightly tanned due to age, yet readability remains intact. The bindings are tight, and the interiors are clean.

These magazines are great for collectors or those interested in 1970s literature. To use them, simply open the pages and start reading. When handling, wash your hands to avoid adding more dirt. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent further tanning of the pages. Don't bend the spines too much to keep them in good shape. If you notice any loose pages, use archival tape to fix them gently.
