Product Description

This lot includes two classic atomic physics books. 'A Layman's Guide to Atomic Physics' by J. M. Valentine, published by Collier Books in 1962 as the First Collier Books Edition. 'The Restless Atom' by Alfred Romer, published by Anchor Books, Doubleday & Company, Inc. in 1960 with an unstated edition. The books are in good condition. Although the covers, inner covers, and text blocks are soiled, it doesn't affect readability. The spines and labels are faded, and there is shelf wear on the edges and corners. The text block of 'A Layman's Guide' has light scuffs, but it's still easy to read. The bindings are tight, and the interiors are clean.

These books are great for anyone interested in learning about atomic physics in a simple way. To use them, just sit back, relax, and start reading. You can go through them chapter by chapter or jump to the parts that interest you the most. When handling the books, be gentle to avoid further wear and tear. Since they are vintage and the covers and spines are a bit faded, try to store them in a dry and cool place away from direct sunlight. This will help keep them in good condition for a long time. If you want to mark important parts, use a bookmark instead of folding the pages. Enjoy exploring the world of atomic physics with these classic reads!
