Product Description

This lot features 7 vintage Hardy Boys hardcover mystery books, numbered from 34 to 40. The titles include 'The Hooded Hawk Mystery' (1954), 'The Clue in the Embers' (1972), 'The Secret of Pirates' Hill' (1972), 'The Ghost at Skeleton Rock' (1972), 'The Mystery at Devil's Paw' (1959), 'The Mystery of the Chinese Junk' (1960), and 'The Mystery of the Desert Giant' (1961). Written by Franklin W. Dixon and published by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, these books have various copyrights. The books are in good to acceptable condition. Books 34 and 38, being older editions with brown/white endpapers, have some staining and soiling. There's some wear at the corners and spine ends, with light scuffing. The tops of the text blocks are dyed blue/black, and there's some soiling on other edges. Black and white multi - scene endpapers are present in books 35 - 37, 39 & 40, and there's a red marker dot at the bottom of one text block.

These Hardy Boys mystery books are great for entertainment. To use them, simply sit back and start reading. As they are vintage books, handle them gently to avoid further wear. When not in use, store them in a dry and cool place to prevent damage from humidity and heat. If you notice any loose pages, you can use some archival - quality glue to repair them. Don't expose the books to direct sunlight for long periods as it may fade the covers and pages.
