Product Description

This item is a special edition of 'History of Art: A Survey of the Major Visual Arts from the Dawn of History to the Present Day' written by H.W. Janson. It was published jointly by Prentice - Hall, Inc. and Harry N. Abrams, Inc. in May 1967, with the 11th printing. The book is in good condition overall. The pages are clean and bright, and the binding is secure. However, there are some minor flaws. The covers beneath the dust jacket have minor soiling, there's soiling and foxing along the fore edge of the text block, rubbing along the edges, and some writing on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket is in poor condition.

This 'History of Art' book is a great read for art lovers. You can read it at home on a cozy day, or take it with you to the library for deeper study. When handling the book, be gentle to avoid further damage to the dust jacket and edges. Keep it away from moisture to prevent soiling and foxing. If you want to preserve it well, store it on a dry bookshelf. Also, try not to write on the pages to maintain its cleanliness. And when you put it back on the shelf, make sure it stands upright to keep the binding secure.
