This set includes two vintage cookbooks from 1963. The first one is 'The Good Housekeeping Cookbook', edited by Dorothy B. Marsh and published by Good Housekeeping Book Division, The Hearst Corporation. It's in its sixth printing. The second is 'McCall's Cook Book', authored by The Food Editors of McCall and published by Random House in its first printing. The books are in acceptable condition. Covers have some damage like scuffing, soiling, staining, and shelf - wear. McCall's has heavy chipping and open tears along the spine and is bowed. Good Housekeeping is dented with rounded corners. Text blocks are heavily stained and soiled. Free - ends and pastedowns have some staining. Pages are starting to yellow, sun, and stain, with Good Housekeeping having some occasional marks, but they are otherwise intact and legible. Bindings are intact.

These vintage cookbooks are a great addition to your kitchen or collection. To use them, simply flip through the pages to find delicious recipes from 1963. When handling, be gentle as the covers and pages have some wear. Avoid getting the books wet as the text blocks and pages are already stained and may get damaged further. Store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent more yellowing. If you want to clean them, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the covers. Don't try to repair the covers or bindings on your own as it could cause more harm. Enjoy exploring the classic recipes these cookbooks have to offer!
